Heathrow has revealed three options for a 3rd runway which they call "a new approach". Its Chief Executive Colin Matthews says a 3rd runway is essential for the UK.
Option 1 is for a new runway to the North West obliterating 950 properties in Longford & Harmondsworth. @itvlondon
Option 2 is for a runway to the SW, involving the demolition of 850 homes at Stanwell Moor. @itvlondon
Option 3 is a runway to the north on top of Sipson, Harlington & Cranford. 2,700 homes would go. @itvlondon
