Leyton Orient FC chief argues for Olympic Stadium use

Leyton Orient FC chairman Barry Hearn gave evidence to the Lords Committee on the Olympic legacy today, regarding using the stadium as a home ground. Mr Hearn said that people in the east end have been "waiting for generations" for a "centrepiece" such as the Olympic Stadium.

Olympic sports legacy verdict

It's almost a year since the Olympics and its sporting legacy appears to be dwindling. A survey by the Smiths Institute has found that the number of school children taking part in sport has fallen.
