A 50 year-old man has been jailed for six years for supplying almost a kilogram of high-quality cocaine. Lithuanian Saulius Pilipavicius was arrested as he exchanged a bag of the drug with another man in Leytonstone in April.
Detective Inspector Rob Murray said: "We believe that Pilipavicius came to this country to sell significant quantities of Class A drugs on London streets. In this case, he attempted to exchange almost one kilogram of cocaine, which has a street value of £200,000.
"We welcome today's sentence which has ensured that a drugs supplier - part of an international drugs supply chain - has been removed from our streets."
