A new scanner at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore is revealing the damage caused by long-term wearing of high heels. The scanner produces a 3D image and can scan feet to see the effect that different shoes have.
Surgeon Mr Andy Goldberg says the scanner has shown limited use of high heels is fine but repeated use can cause damage.
