A man has died following a fire in an outbuilding on Park Road in Uxbridge, during the early hours of this morning.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus rescued the man from the brick outbuilding he was believed to be living in at the rear of a shop. He was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service where he was later pronounced dead.
The brigade was called at 00:25 and the fire was under control by 01:21. Two fire engines, 14 firefighters andofficers from Hillingdon fire station attended the scene. The cause of the fireis under investigation.
