A third teenager arrested by detectives investigating the rape of a 12-year-old girl has been bailed pending further inquiries, police said.
The 17-year-old, who was arrested on Saturday after attending an east London police station, has been bailed to a date in mid-August, Scotland Yard said.
The girl was allegedly targeted by three young men who took her to a garage area in Hibbert Road, Walthamstow, east London, at around 12.15am on Saturday, July 27.
She is said to have been raped by two of them, before calling a friend who came to help.
Two teenagers, also 17, appeared in court on Saturday charged with rape. One was remanded in custody and the other was given bail with conditions.
Both will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on August 21.
