Teenage killing 'could have been prevented'

Former Mayor of Tower Hamlets Doros Ullah has told ITV London that the community had "urged" the relevant authorities to take action over ongoing anti-social behaviour in the area, claiming that the death of a 16-year-old boy "could have been prevented".

'Splendid' boy stabbed in London

A 16-year-old boy who was killed in a knife attack in east London has been described as a "splendid young man" by his headteacher. The teenager, Ajmol Alom, was attacked in Spey Street, Poplar, at around 9.50pm on Monday.
