A police officer is being treated in hospital after a chemical substance was thrown in his face in South London. The officer had stopped a man on a moped in Battersea yesterday afternoon when the suspect sprayed the substance into his face before fleeing.

They say Great Ormond Street Hospital has denied their request and the baby's life-support will be switched off on Friday.
He is accused of raudulently attempting to gain money and housing by pretending he had lost family members.
The High Court made the ruling after hearing an application by the Association of British Commuters for a judicial review.
