Police are trying to find two men after a member staff was assaulted at Northfields underground station in west London. The attack happened around 10.45pm on Sunday, 7 July.
PC Neil Lane, the investigating officer, said: "Two men got off a westbound Piccadilly line train and tried to force open the locked luggage gate. When the station supervisor asked them to stop, one of the men pushed him before grabbing him around the throat and pinning him against the wall.
"Meanwhile, the second man followed another member of staff into the office and stopped her from calling police. When the supervisor managed to break free to go and help his colleague, he was hit around the head."
