- PC Andrew Duncan, known as Andy, 47, remains in a critical condition.
- He was working with a colleague when they noticed a car speeding along Reigate Avenue toward Rosehill.
- Andy attempted to stop the car by signalling for the driver to pull over. The driver then collided with Andy and drove off.
"Andy is a hard working and committed police officer. He is extremely popular with everyone he comes into contact with. The thoughts of the MPS are with Andy and his family at this distressing time, we are all wishing for his recovery."
