Lamborghini seized during uninsured vehicle crackdown

A Lamborghini worth £400,000 has been towed away by police in east London during an operation to crackdown on uninsured vehicles.

The high-powered car was originally stopped because it was missing a front number plate. Police then discovered the man driving it was not the registered owner and his insurance policy did not cover him.

Since the launch of Operation Cubo in October last year 11,576 vehicles have been seized by the Met Police in a series of one-day operations.
