A 92-year-old woman has sustained life-threatening injuries while boarding a bus in Twickenham this afternoon, the Richmond and Twickenham Times has reported.
Police were called to reports of an elderly lady falling as she attempted to get on a Richmond-bound 490 bus in King Street, outside WH Smith, at 12.14pm today.
It is believed she fell onto the pavement, where she suffered "very serious" leg and hip injuries.
