An autistic teenager has been robbed in an east London underpass while on her way to visit her grandmother. The attack happened on Saturday as the 18-year-old woman was walking beneath the Billet Roundabout in Walthamstow.
A man on a bike approached the victim, and as she tried to ignore him she was punched repeatedly in the head. Detectives have released a CCTV footage of the attack as part of their appeal to identify the man responsible.
