A teenager is due to be sentenced today throwing acid at a woman on her doorstep in Essex. 26-year-old Tara Quigley suffered horrific injuries to her face and body and still has to have surgery.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to a charge of throwing corrosive fluid on a person, with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
