An annual service of remembrance for London's war dead will be held in the Chamber at City Hall this morning.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson will be among those to lay wreaths at the City Hall War Memorial.
Mr Johnson said:"The bravery and commitment of the men and women who have served our country around the world should quite rightly be remembered.
"It's to their great dedication of service that we owe much of our freedoms and liberty.
"We must never forget their enormous sacrifices and the great debt we owe our troops for keeping us safe. "
