Over £10k spent clearing tonnes of waste on new park

Hackney Council has spent more than £10,000 clearing tonnes of waste covering an area the size of a football field, it said today.

Last month, the council approved £100,000 worth of funds to turn Mabley Green in to the world's largest "edible park", according to the Evening Standard.
