A Spanish student has been slashed with a knife after refusing to give his rucksack to muggers. The 30-year-old was approached by two men in Willesden Lane in north west London in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The student who has not been named was left with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital where he is now in a stable condition.
