A branch of McDonald’s in Sidcup has been forced to ditch its policy of banning teenagers after 7pm after a furious backlash. Managers put up a sign, complete with spelling mistake saying: "No youths will be serverd after 7pm".

Teenagers protested both at the restaurant and on Twitter. McDonald's apologised, and lifted the ban. The move was part of a plan to control "disruptive" customers.
