Police appeal for witnesses after Regent Street collision

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after an elderly cyclist was seriously injured in a road accident on Regent Street.

At 18:20 on Tuesday, 25 February, police were called to a collision between a car and a cyclist on near the junction with Little Portland Street.

The cyclist - a 69-year-old man - was treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service. He was taken to a central London hospital and remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and no arrests were made.
