Mesut Ozil will be even better during his second season in the Premier League, Arsenal team mate Per Mertesacker has said.
Ozil, who arrived from Real Madrid for £42 million last summer, has faced criticism after failing to sustain his early-season impact.
"He has adapted well but there is more to come from him, and I think the second season will be much better from him, because he's a fantastic player," Mertesacker told Arsenal's official website of his Germany colleague.
"He has shown some great skills but he needs to be more consistent, and that's what makes the difference at the end.
"With a pre-season ahead of him, there's more to come from him."
