Ronnie O'Sullivan and his son were reportedly involved in a car crash just hours after the snooker star lost in the World Championship final.
O'Sullivan's son was in the passenger seat of the two-seater Audi R8 sports car when it span out of control on the M1 near Leicester at around 1.30am, as the pair returned home after the tournament in Sheffield, according to the Daily Mirror.
Both were said to be "shaken" but unharmed after the incident.
The 38-year-old's manager, Sonny Nath, confirmed the incident to the newspaper saying: "They are fine. They were a bit shaken as you would expect but nobody went to hospital and there was nobody else injured."
O'Sullivan, from Chigwell in Essex, lost 18-14 to Mark Selby in the final as his bid to win three consecutive world titles ended.
