Winston McKenzie, the UKIP candidate for Croydon North, confirmed Nigel Farage would not be turning up because of concerns over safety.
Winston McKenzie said: "He's a responsible family man and political party leader. Certain situations you have to avoid... Croydon is unsafe and a dump."
