UKIP leader Nigel Farage failed to show up to a 'carnival' in Croydon today after reportedly saying he wouldn't feel safe. Arguments broke out at the Whitgift Centre among UKIP supporters as the news emerged.
A steel band, booked by UKIP for the event, told ITV News' Deputy Political Editor Chris Ship that they wouldn't have played anyway if they'd known it was a UKIP event.
