Fifty thousand new homes are to be built across 20 brownfield sites in London as part of plans to tackle the capital's chronic housing shortage.
The £400m scheme was announced today by Chancellor George Osborne and London Mayor Boris Johnson, and will mean developers are able to bypass planning laws.
