A cat who has been missing since April, was found on Thursday in North London, 200 miles away from his home.

The Yorkshire moggy, called Obi Wan Catobi was discovered underneath the floorboards in an unfinished hotel on Euston Road.

Builders stopped work and the RSPCA were called to safely rescue the feline. When the cat's microchip was read, it was revealed he had come from Leeds and had disappeared after his owners moved house in April.

His 32-year-old owner, Adam Williams from Horsforth was delighted when he heard that Obi was still alive and said, "How he got himself down there, I have no idea. This amazes us as he hates getting into cars or any kind of other vehicle".
