Theo Paphitis, one of the country's most well known entrepreneurs, will launch Southampton's masterplan to attract investment and create thriving business in the city.
Southampton City Council promises to create 24, 000 jobs and bring in £3 billion of investment by re-designing the city centre and creating new waterfront, cultural and business hubs. Public transport will also be remodelled with new railway access and sustainable access to the city centre.
Commenting on the plans, Theo said: "Southampton City Council has an exciting plan to regenerate the city centre and make it a truly versatile, vibrant and distinctive location where businesses and communities can thrive.
It's hoped it'll attract big businesses from around the world. Today we find out how the transformation will happen.
