Full details of one of the biggest Jubilee events outside London have been announced for Southampton.
Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on Tuesday June 5th with a series of events announced today in Southampton.
The day will start with the arrival of all three Cunard ships headed by Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2. Around 10,000 people will line the decks with flags and patriotic music.
It will be the first time the vessels have been together in the home port. In the late afternoon the Red Arrows will stage a half hour flying display over the Solent with the evening seeing a spectacular waterfront light and fireworks display.
