The Princess Royal will visit Fareham tomorrow for a Freedom March to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Princess Anne will be present at a special march by HMS Collingwood through Fareham town centre. She will also officially open the newly upgraded West Street Play Area.
As "Freeman of the Borough", HMS Collingwood will be exercising their right to march through the town, with "bayonets fixed and flags a flying" and led by the Royal Marines band.
Mayor of Fareham, Councillor Trevor Cartwright MBE, said: "I will be honoured to welcome Her Royal Highness to Fareham for a very special Freedom March to mark The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
"As the only other British monarch to celebrate a Diamond Jubilee was Queen Victoria in 1897, it is important that we mark the occasion with a very special event which I hope many local people will join with us to celebrate."
