Disgruntled taxi drivers are meeting in Oxford later today to campaign against Big Brother-style plans to have compulsory CCTV equipment installed in all cabs in the city.
The City Council says journeys will be made safer for both drivers and passengers if video and conversations are recorded.
Some taxi drivers have already chosen to have the equipment installed. But more than 100 of the city's cabbies have signed a petition against the plans.
This afternoon they will meet council bosses in an attempt to work out a solution.
