Police are trying to trace two women

CCTV images of two women police want to speak to Photo:

Hampshire Police have issued cctv images of two women they would like to trace. Officers said that on March 22nd at 6pm two women entered the Ampress Park Co-op at Wellworthy Road in Lymington.

They asked the cashier to change £200 in twenty pound notes into ten pound notes. They then further asked for fifty pound notes instead-and playing on the need to be served quickly, handed back only £100 to the cashier, thereby stealing £100.

“We’d like to speak to the two women pictured and to anyone who saw what happened in the shop. I’d also like to advise other shop staff to be on their guard for this kind of scam.”

– PC Arron Wood, Hampshire Police

Anyone with any information can contact police at Lymington on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
