Who are the phone thieves?

Police have released CCTV images after phones were stolen from a shop in Andover. Two men walked into the 3 shop on March 28 and began talking to one of the workers before grabbing five phones. The shop worker struggled with one of the men, before both men made off towards Waterloo Court. They were seen getting into a silver Vauxhall Astra.

A third man was driving the car which then sped off toward Western Avenue.

The first man is described as white, aged in his early 20s, of a slim build with dark hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt and possibly a denim jacket.

The second man is described as white, aged in his early 20s, has a shaved head and was wearing a grey jacket.

PC Glen Dawber said: “I would particularly like to speak to anyone who saw this incident or who saw the men running towards the waiting car. “I would also like to hear from anyone who saw the car make off from Waterloo Court.” Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Dawber at Andover Police Station on 101.
