A unique memorial is planned to honour the memory of Mahinder Singh Pujji, a brave pilot who left his home in India to join the RAF and fight for Britain during World War Two.

The Squadron Leader settled in Gravesend in Kent after the war. He died in 2010. Now, his family and the local community believe a statue would be a fitting tribute to him. Tom Savvides reports.
