British Transport Police (BTP) detectives are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted on a train between Bognor Regis and Barnham. They have released images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place around 8pm on 15th March.

As the train approached Barnham, a man approached the victim, an 18-year-old woman from Lancing, and tried to strike up a conversation. He then tried to kiss the victim before touching her indecently.

This man’s actions left the victim intimidated and very distressed and we’ll do everything we can to catch him.
