Other familiar faces among the ITV1 presenters and reporters for the day include Natasha Kaplinsky, Alastair Stewart, Mary Nightingale, Mark Austin and Nina Hossain, who will be based along the procession route from Buckingham Palace to St Paul's Cathedral.
And James Mates will lead the ceremonial commentary of events at the cathedral for the service of thanksgiving.
Michael Jermey, ITV's director of news & current affairs said: "We'll aim to capture the national mood as millions of people across the country toast the Queen's 60th anniversary on the throne."
ITV1 will also screen a pair of documentaries in early June as the celebrations build.
Alan Titchmarsh will present a special programme - Elizabeth: Queen, Wife, Mother - in which he speaks to figures such as the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of York, as well as looking at family letters.
And in The Queen & I, people from around the UK share their home movies from their encounters with the monarch during her 60-year reign.
