The Environment Agency is warning of dangerous conditions this morning as more of our region is put on flood alert.
High levels of rainfall have been expected overnight and into the morning as it's feared Cranleigh Waters in Surrey could burst its banks, affecting areas around Guildford, including Elmbridge, Shamley Green, Bramley, and Cranleigh.
Flooding is also possible this morning for the Emm Brook around Wokingham, where water levels remain high. Overnight rain is expected to spill out over the surrounding flood plain.
The forecasts in these areas suggest residents should expect persistent, heavy rainfall and strong winds into the morning. Low lying land could be affected but it's not thought property is at risk.
