Following a tip off from a member of the public, officers attended a residential address in Well Road, Maidstone, where approximately 120 cannabis plants were discovered.
The factory will now be dismantled and all of the equipment, such as the lighting, will be destroyed.
Detectives are now investigating the incident and are looking to identify those involved in the cultivation.
Detective Constable Debbie Prescott from Kent Police said: “This result shows the importance of the support we receive from members of the public in alerting us to suspicious behaviour or smells. Every time we close down a cannabis farm we disrupt illegal activity, and deprive criminals of the opportunity to make money from their crimes. We will continue to proactively target drug cultivations to restrict and disrupt the supply of controlled substances across Maidstone.”
