A man who stabbed his wife and mother-in-law to death in a "senseless slaughter" has been found guilty of murder.
22 year old Turkish national Ensar Gol returned home in the early hours of themorning, took a knife from the kitchen and went upstairs to the bedroom where herepeatedly stabbed his 28-year-old wife Michala.
Her mother Julie Sahin, 50, and a family friend, Casey Wilson, 20, ran upstairsand tried to intervene but were both stabbed, Mrs Sahin fatally.
Gol, of Ireton Court in Thame, Oxfordshire, denied two counts of murder and oneof attempted murder on September 4 last year but was convicted unanimously by ajury at Oxford Crown Court.
Dafydd Enoch, prosecuting, told the court: "He was clearly unhappy. The marriage was clearly unhappy. He was clearly homesick. But none of this caneven begin to explain the cold acts of murder in which he indulged: senselessslaughter born out of premeditated ruthless violence."
Gol, who admitted to never having loved 28-year-old Michala, was chatting to a cousin on Facebook on the night in question.
In messages retrieved from his computer, Gol said: “I will cut them all. I will cut the mother-in-law and the wife.”
