Police are investigating two assaults that occurred at around the same time in Aldershot and are appealing for one of the victims to come forward.
Officers were called to St Michael’s Road at around 8pm on Sunday, following reports of a group of men attacking an Asian man with his girlfriend.
Upon searching the surrounding area they came across a teenager in Manor Park who said he had also been assaulted by a group of men.
Police believe that the Asian man was attacked by up to five white men aged in their early 20s and about 5ft 10ins tall. However, no victim has come forward.
A member of the public described the victim as an Asian man aged in his late teens, about 5ft 6ins tall, of a slim build and was wearing a dark blue tracksuit.
The second incident is understood to have happened in Manor Park where a group of four older teenagers assaulted a 15-year-old boy and stole his football.
PC Tryffena Vickery said: “We are keeping an open mind as to whether these incidents are linked but would like to hear from anyone who saw either of these incidents.
“Did you see a group of young men matching the description or do you know who the victim of the assault in St Michael’s Road was?”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Vickery at Aldershot Police Station on 101.
