As visitors from across the globe arrive in the South for the Olympics - a record nine million people are making a great escape to avoid the Games AND the weather.

Cheap deals in the sunshine mean this weekend is one of the busiest our airports have seen all summer with holidaymakers grabbing last minute bargains abroad

London 2012 means up to 15 per cent more visitors will pass through our airports compared to this time last year, prompting many Brits to vacate for a quiet break. And the weak Euro means holidaymakers could get more for their money in European destinations.
