Cyclist Dani King delivered on her promise of winning a gold medal at the Olympic Games.
Now the people of Hamble in Hampshire can make their own 'golden' deliveries after their local postbox was given a makeover.
The postbox will stay gold for six months in honour of Dani's win in the Team Pursuit on Saturday along with team mates Laura Trott and Joanna Rowsell.
Dani's parents Trevor and Lynn King and Dani's younger sister Sarah where all in the High Street this morning to see it turned from red to gold.
They were also presented with a commemorative stamp of the trio which is now on general sale in 500 post offices.
Dani's parents were also the first to deliver a letter through the newly painted postbox.
