Cathedral manuscripts up for auction

A unique collection of historic books and manuscripts will be auctioned off - unless enough money can be raised to save them from being sold.

The "Mendham Collection" has been in the care of Canterbury Cathedral for thirty years but is owned by the Law Society, which wants to sell the books off.

Thousands of people in Kent have joined a campaign against the move. David Johns has the story.
