A boy's best friend
Haatchi was seriously injured when he was tied to a railway track - hit by a train he lost his back leg and tail.
Now taken care of by a new family from Basingstoke in Hampshire - he's helping 7-year-old Owen Howkins - who was born with a rare genetic condition called Schwartz-Jampel syndrome that puts his muscles into continual contraction.
Divya Kohli has their remarkable story.
Haatchi was awarded the Top Dog Award in Drontal’s Give Your Dog a Bone competition, launched to celebrate the introduction of their new bone-shaped worming tablets. After winning the competition, Haatchi’s owners have decided to donate their prizes to the Make a Wish foundation.
