Portsmouth Football Club is teetering on the brink of liquidation after the man set to buy the side withdrew his offer.
Former owner Balrain Chanrai looked set to take control once again - until negotiations stalled today. Chanrai's company Portpin reportedly pulled out for reasons including 'a lack of support from senior figures and fans'.
The move leaves only one remaining option - the bid put forward by the Pompey Supporters Trust - A consortium of fans who' have got council backing in the form of a loan worth just under £1.5 million.
But as Sarah Gomme reports, their success depends on negotiations with the former owner.
