Councils pledge more cash for HS2 fight
Councils in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire are set to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds extra of taxpayers money fighting the controversial High Speed 2 rail link. The route would run through the counties' countryside.
Already along the 32 billion pound rail link between London and Birmingham local authorities have pledged one point two million pounds - but now it has emerged that much more money is needed to continue the campaign.
The latest council to stump up more cash is Aylesbury Vale - it's leader has spoken exclusively to Our Transport Correspondent, Mike Pearse.
