Fifty-five thousand music fans, who like dressing-up when they watch their favourite bands, have enjoyed the best weather of the summer at this year's Bestival Festival on the Isle of Wight.

The annual parade of the best outfits - in what is claimed to be the biggest fancy dress party in the world - saw a wide spectrum of imagination at play with this year's theme 'Wildlife'.

Stilt walkers processed alongside mushrooms and tigers, all led by a lion driving an ancient tractor.

The headliner tonight is Stevie Wonder, who is likely to play many tracks from his hit album 'Songs in the Key of Life' - very appropriate for this year's colourful event.
