The bodies of a man and his two children have been found on a bridleway in Hampshire. A member of the public came across the bodies, lying outside a car in Newton Stacey, near Andover late on Sunday.

The father and his children haven't been formally identified but police say they believe them to be 51-year-old Michael Pedersen, who's from Chertsey in Surrey and Ben and Freya Pedersen, aged seven and six - who are from Middlesex. A member of the public called officers yesterday evening around 6.15 when they made the discovery. The circumstances surrounding their deaths are now being investigated but it IS being treated as an isolated incident and detectives do NOT believe anyone else is involved. The families of Michael, Ben and Freya have been informed and specialist Family Liaison Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are offering them support.
