An attempt to beat the world record for building the most sandcastles in an hour has been made on a South Coast beach today. More than a hundred people took their buckets and spades to Bournemouth to try to build more than 683 sandcastles. Did they do it? Our reporter Sue Kinnear was there to see.
In her report she spoke to Steven Robertson from The Big Issue which jointly organised the event as part of the Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival; Phil Stanley-Watts, the Mayor of Bournemouth; and Bill Webb, one of the people helping to build the sandcastles.
