Keeping Kyle's memory alive

It's something every parent dreads - the death of a child. So how does life go on when it happens?

Well one mother whose son died last year has been talking to Meridian about where she finds the strength to face each day and how she's keeping her son's memory alive.

Kyle Rees was 16 when he was killed at school - he was hit on the head by a cricket ball - a tragedy we reported at the time.

11 months on his friends and family are raising money for the hospital unit that treated him.

We were with Kyle's mother as she returned there to hand over a cheque which she hopes will help save other lives.

Kerry Swain has our report, with Tanya Cooper.
