The last of the wintry weather is out of the way for now, and temperatures are milder this weekend. But now that they snow has passed, parts of our region are on flood alert as rain sweeps across much of the South tonight. Any lying snow will also melt as the rain and warmer temperatures spread from the west - adding to the flood risk.
Temperatures are steadily rising - reaching more than 10C in some parts tomorrow, followed by wet and windy weather next week.
The Environment Agency has warned of areas more likely to flood:
The River Ock from Watchfield to Abingdon, and also the Letcombe Brook at Wantage, Grove and East Hanney. Flooding is possible for the River Ock from Watchfield to Abingdon including, Stanford in the Vale, Charney Bassett, Lyford and Garford, and also the Letcombe Brook at Wantage, Grove and East Hanney this afternoon.
The River Ray and its tributaries from Shipton Lee to and including Islip. Flooding is possible for the River Ray and its tributaries from Shipton Lee to Islip, including Ludgershall, Blackthorn and Murcott this afternoon.
The Ginge Brook. Flooding is possible for the Ginge Brook, for the Steventon area down to and including Sutton Courtenay.
The River Evenlode from Moreton in Marsh to Cassington and also the River Glyme at Wootton and Woodstock. Flooding is possible for the River Evenlode from Moreton in Marsh to Cassington including, Kingham, Bledington, Milton under Wychwood, Shipton under Wychwood, Ascott under Wychwood, Charlbury, Fawler and Long Hanborough and also the River Glyme at Wootton and Woodstock.
The River Frome from East Stoke to Wareham. East Stoke, Holmebridge, Stoborough, Stoborough Green, Wareham, Redcliffe, Ridge and Swineham are affected.
The River Wey from Upwey to Weymouth.

Tributaries on the Upper River Thames above Cricklade. Flooding is possible for the Flagham Brook, The Swill Brook, The Hankerton Brook, The Hykemeres Stream, The Derry Brook and The River Key this afternoon.
