A teenager has died during a police pursuit in Reading. The incident happened just before 11.30pm last night. The man is believed to have been travelling in a Ford Fiesta.

“A 19-year-old man, believed to be from the Fiesta, sadly lost his life in the collision.
“We have referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.”
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating the incident, and released this statement:
"A Ford Fiesta was being pursued by Thames Valley Police (TVP) officers for failing to stop when the car collided with the central reservation on the A33 at around 11.25pm.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the Ford Fiesta, was pronounced dead at the scene.
IPCC investigators were deployed to the scene following a referral from TVP and an independent investigation has started.
The man's next of kin have been informed.
The man has not been formally identified. A post mortem will take place.
